Answer: It should do -

Will the dc jack fit my bt smart hub 6 type a router?
Answer: It fits my 3 mobile home wifi router. Generally, the voltage dictates the size of the plug. So if the voltage matches, it should fit. If not, you can get a converter plug. -

Answer: The output is 12Vdc 800mAh Max. I'd have thought a DVD player would require a higher current than 800mAh. -

Answer: I used it on a 1m camping LED strip requiring 12v 2A from a power bank no problem. Not sure about a 4m strip, but if it only takes 2A, it might work. -

Answer: No, this increases voltage output from a 5v power supply/power bank to 12v. -

Answer: I bought this to try and run a 12v laptop display, but none of my chargers output enough amps. I'd suggest it's unlikely you'll be able to power much besides small reversing camera screens, etc. It really depends on what you plug it into; just remember that if your charger is 1amp USB, then it'll be less than half that at 12v as you're more than doubling the voltage.
