Editorial Review
NIHONGO ACTIVE TALK is a Japanese textbook designed for beginners. The book has various units and exercises to help learners build their vocabulary, grammar, and listening skills. The illustrations used in the book are vibrant and make it easier to understand the context. The appendix section provides an in-depth discussion of the unique features of the Japanese language, making the content useful and informative. However, it would be more convenient to have the vocabulary list for each unit included in the unit itself. The "Real Sessions" in the book are designed for group activities, making it less useful for individual learners. Nevertheless, the book offers room for more comprehensive lessons, depending on how the readers use it. In conclusion, NIHONGO ACTIVE TALK is a suitable textbook for group learning activities and a valuable resource for beginners learning the Japanese language.
