Action & Adventure Editorial Review
**** "In Stormy Weather" by Chelsea Curto presents an engaging blend of heartfelt romance and professional rivalry set against the backdrop of the meteorology field. The story revolves around Quincy Monroe, a PhD meteorologist and host of "The Rainy Day Show," and Sebastian Dunn, a competing meteorologist and her best friend's brother. Their dynamic features plenty of witty banter and an exciting slow-burn romance, capturing readers' attention from the outset. Quincy's representation as a strong woman in a male-dominated industry resonates well with audiences, as her character epitomizes grit and intelligence. Readers have particularly appreciated the chemistry between Quincy and Sebastian, who evolve from rivals to allies and ultimately lovers while engaging in storm chasing. It's a journey marked by mutual respect and support, allowing them to navigate not just their feelings for each other but also the challenges imposed by their careers. Critics noted that the way Curto emphasizes the characters’ professional lives adds depth to their romance, making it feel both authentic and inspiring. The book's solid pacing and character development contribute to an overall sense of satisfaction by its conclusion. With the quality writing and unique premise, many are eager for a potential series continuation, inviting further exploration into the lives of Quincy's friends and colleagues. Enthusiasm for the book is palpable, with many readers expressing their hopes for sequels that would allow for deeper engagement with the supporting characters. Overall, "In Stormy Weather" is a delightful read that encapsulates themes of ambition, romance, and self-discovery, ensuring it resonates well with fans of contemporary romance and women's fiction. **
