    Answer: Are you sure distance between screws is 1 3/4 and not 2 3/4? 1 3/4 is kind of short?

    Answer: The push button appears to be metal.
  • Question: Is there any chance that the incandescent bulb could be replaced with an LED bulb?

    Answer: Not certain, but if the LED bulb is the correct voltage/wattage it wouldn’t seem to be a problem. We need the copper finish button for our application.
  • Question: What are the dimensions of this item?

    Answer: Not exactly sure but it's about 2.5-3 inches tall and an inch across. It's a nice doorbell- had for a year.
  • Question: Does this piece come with a diode or does it need to be bought separately?

    Answer: It does not. You will need to buy it separately.
  • Question: How deep should the hole on the wall be? I guess it is just a round hole?

    Answer: The back of the unit is approx 3/4in. And you need about 3/4in. Dia. I put mine on a stucco wall & used silicon adhesive with the screws.
