    Answer: Yes, furniture wax can be applied over it.
  • Question: My front door is medium oak. i bought dark retique it because i wanted to stain it a dark oak. will this work or do i need to get the light retinue it?

    Answer: With my limited knowledge, I would say go with medium or dark and not the light. The best thing to do is to experiment.
  • Question: How much polyacrylic is needed for a dresser & 2 end tables & how many coats?

    Answer: You need a quart and 1-2 coats depending on the amount of use. High traffic requires 2-coat minimum.
  • Question: I have a dark cabinet and I would like to make it a weathered gray. Will this do this or will the original dark stain come through?

    Answer: Get the light wood and also dark wood and graining tools. Ultimately, the color is going to be the color of the stain.
  • Question: I painted my laundry room cabinets with the snow color. Now do I put the wax over the cabinets or the polyacrylic over the paint?

    Answer: Poly over paint and, for added protection, wax over poly.
  • Question: I used Retique it (black) on a bathroom vanity. Can I use the Polyacrylic on this once it has dried?

    Answer: After you stain it, yes you can seal it with Polyacrylic
  • Question: I see someone used it on counter tops. Is there a sealer that needs to be used?

    Answer: If they stained it afterwards, it is recommended to put polyurethane on it.
  • Question: Can I use this on your chalk paints?

    Answer: Absolutely, this can be used on the chalk paints.
  • Question: Is there a special brush I need for this? Should I get a grain tool? What supplies do I need besides gloves and the provided cloth?

    Answer: A good quality brush is recommended. The cloth/grain tool/whatever you use is for putting the wood grain effect into the stain. Use firm, long strokes with the stain to get a nice wood grain effect.
  • Question: Is it safe for a baby crib?

    Answer: Yes, once cured, it is food safe.
  • Question: Can the Liquid wood be put in a paint sprayer?

    Answer: Absolutely not! It is better to brush on because of the small wood chunks that are in it, which would definitely clog up the sprayer head.
