  • Question: How can you open this with one hand?

    Answer: This knife is designed to be taken apart with either an allen wrench or trox driver. If all else fails read the instructions.
  • Question: The description says 'assisted opening', but I thought this model was manual opening? Is it assisted or not?

    Answer: The shizuka noh ken is practically the same knife, but with assisted opening added.
  • Question: Will this knife fit in molle loops?

    Answer: Width is approximately 1 and 1/16 inches by 7/16 inches. This is my daily carry knife now.
  • Question: I just received this knife and opened the blade easily. But I can't fold it back.

    Answer: There is a automatic secondary lock that engages when the blade is opened. Just press that tab down to disengage the secondary lock.
  • Question: Is the pocket clip removeable?

    Answer: Yes, the pocket clip is reversible or removable.
  • Question: What does the Japanese inscription on the blade translate to in English?

    Answer: Silent Sword..or unseen Sword..don't remember which.
  • Question: Is this knife design ambidextous? How does it work for left-handed users?

    Answer: I don't think so. There is a cutout for the thumb on the LH side but it's not as deep.
  • Question: Where is it made?

    Answer: It was absolutely made in Taiwan.
  • Question: Can this knife be flicked open without using the thumb plate?

    Answer: Not out of the box. Maybe if you loosen the screw.
  • Question: What kind of steel is the blade and how thick is the blade? Thanks

    Answer: The blade is made out of AUS 8 steel. I'm not sure of blade thickness, however.
