  • Question: I have a 200 AMP Cutler Hammer residential panel and want to use the CHT2020 breaker. The list on the panel does not include and 'C' prefix breakers

    Answer: Cutler Hammer makes two types of breakers and they are not interchangeable. CH is one type, BR is one type, you should be able to look at your existing breakers to see what you have. Use caution when you are working in or around your breaker box.
  • Question: We need a cutler hammer xo220, 20amp,2 pole narrow but can't find one. What could be a substitute?

    Answer: I would think Lowe's still carries what you need.
  • Question: Will this fit in an old (1975) CH panel?

    Answer: It should.
  • Question: Will these work in a ch24mb200 cutler-hammer loadcenter? if so, how many bays are allowed to be this type of tandem in that loadcenter?

    Answer: Yes, they will work, the tandem breaker takes up one space but provides 2 circuits.
  • Question: Is this compatible with a GE breaker box?

    Answer: No it is not compatible.
  • Question: Panel (ch412d150) says to use ch, ch 2100 or ch 2100h. will this tandem breaker work?

    Answer: Works fine in my ch panel, takes the place of one full-size breaker.
  • Question: Will this fit in my ch20cm100 panel?

    Answer: Yes, this CH twin breaker will fit your panel, however according to Eaton this breaker should not be used in your load center. If you are running out of space, consider upgrading your load center to a larger CH series so you could reuse your breaker.
  • Question: The pic shows 15 amp. the text gives 20 amp. The pic shows a narrow connection. Need a long slot/connection over corner of breaker.

    Answer: It is 20 amp even though it shows a 15. Unless you have a very old panel there is only one style Cutler Hammer that is used in residential application. It doesn't look like the single circuit breaker but it does fit.
  • Question: What’s the purpose of the metal clip holding the contacts?

    Answer: The clip helps maintain proper contact pressure on the panel bus bar. This keeps the connection solid over the breaker's operating temperature range and the contact resistance constant during high current loads.
  • Question: Hi I have a cutler hammer ch7ees. Will this tandem work in my panel and if so, is it only on the bottom portions? Panel stickers are mostly gone!

    Answer: Hello, This breaker will fit any CH box in any slot. Remember this is a 120V breaker (only connects to one bus), therefore only needs one space. Good Luck
