    Answer: The base is come with holes already, install it on my jeep one year ago and is still working good, the only thing is I had to make new holes in my jeep for screws because the holes in the base not match with the holes in my jeep.

    Answer: I used this antenna on my RV. In my case it was the same antenna as already existed. Mine had broken off. I just had to remove the screw at the lower ball where is swivels and replace the top part of the antenna.

    Answer: Yes, the antenna angle is adjustable and can be mounted at a 90 degree angle (I.e., mounted to a vertical surface). I mounted it to the side of my travel trailer and it worked great.
  • Question: Whats the ground wire on the the antenna side of the cable for?

    Answer: I used the antenna on a RV , the roof is a rubber compound. As a result I needed to ground it to the frame.
