It has a durable outer sole and easy-to-lace up design. However, some customers have experienced a few issues with the product. According to some customers, the shoe isn't very flexible to wear, and not secure enough for downhill walking. It doesn't work well on loose soil with rocks and slightly sandy terrain as its grip isn't very firm. For people who find it hard to get wide shoes, the Ultra Raptor II Mid GTX has a narrow fit. Even in the wider 6.5 size, it does not fit people with wide feet comfortably. However, it fits perfectly for people with standard-sized feet. The shoe appears to be poorly crafted as some customers have found dried glue around every seam between the rubber and fabric. The glue is also peeling in some places, which could lead to questions about the quality of craftsmanship. Overall, the La Sportiva Women's Ultra Raptor II Mid GTX shoe has received mixed reviews.
