The keyboard tray slides out and is 35 inches wide, which is sufficient for a standard keyboard and a mousepad next to it. The tray pulls out to a sufficient distance, although some users might prefer a further distance. The desk is sturdy enough to hold a dual monitor mount, and two 24" monitors can be placed side by side. The entire desktop surface area, including the 2" wide black frames on either side, is 23 5/8ths inches deep and 39-1/2 inches wide. The keyboard tray is made of wood, and the distance from the floor to the first brace is 25 inches. However, some customers had issues with the desk's assembly instructions, which are only drawings and difficult to follow, and some found them unreadable, resulting in mislabeled parts, excessively long assembly time, and sudden deformation of the parts. However, others found the parts well machined. Some customers had difficulty and frustration with the keyboard tray coming off the track or not pulling out, while others find it comfortable to use.
