About This Item
Add some shine and sparkle to your car with Kustom Canz Spectracoat Silver Urethane - a 5oz aerosol can that is perfect for a custom paint job. Spectracoat is a prismatic tidal wave that creates alluring 3D iridescent colors that appear to move right before your eyes! Custom Paints Inc have been providing Kustom Canz automotive and custom paints for over 20 years, so you can be assured of the quality. Spectracoat Silver is best applied over our Base Grey basecoat.
All Spectracoat colors will dry to a flat finish, so it is important to apply a 1K or 2K Clearcoat for the final finish. Colors are also available in Pints, Quarts, Gallons, 13.5oz aerosol can and Touch up pens. The application process for Spectracoat colors (3 Stage color) is simple.
Always check the color and spray a test panel before spraying your product or project. Start by prepping your project as you would any other paint job by sanding and priming it. Shake the Aerosol can for 3-5 minutes and apply 2-3 coats of base coat color, leaving 10-15 minutes between coats.
After ensuring the base coat has dried off (usually 45-60 minutes), shake the Aerosol can again and apply 2-5 coats of the Spectracoat color depending on the desired color required, leaving 10-15 minutes between coats. Finally, leave 60 minutes before applying a 1K or 2K Clearcoat for the final finish. For a show winning finish, we recommend our 2K Show Clear Aerosol cans.
