The garment is designed to protect the upper chest, neck and upper back from cold air conditions but does not look good with an open shirt. It fits and looks better on neck sizes 12 to 16. The garment is not obvious to others that it is not a complete turtleneck once it is put on and tucked in. However, the garment does not come in different sizes and is too small for larger individuals.
