The mat is not anti-static and has no toxic smell but it is recommended to air it out upon receipt. The mat works perfectly fine on the HTVRONT heat press and as an additional padding for an air fryer. The silicone mat is also good for sublimation works and its ease of cut means the mat can be used to hold face masks. The size of the mat is 12"x15" which fits just right for most heat transfer machines. Although the mat is of good quality, some customers have complained of the toxic smell that comes with some new mats. However, it's advisable to air out a new mat in a ventilated place before use, the smell will dissipate after a while.
