It can be used to wrap cool-side A/C lines, seal oven door edges or added to ignition and ground wires to protect them from heat. Although multiple customers have stated it did not adhere well, ensuring the surface is clean is necessary. Customers have recommended steel zip ties or clamps to reinforce the pressure-sensitive side's initial placement. Some customers noted that it was not recommended for uses where there are direct contacts with high temperatures.
