Answer: I'm not sure about an odor problem but we didn't have any. -

Is there a pillow case for the t wedge?
Answer: Unfortunately, they do not make pillow case covers for this type of breast pillow. What works best is wrapping the breast pillow with a clean flat sheet and placing it between the drape (on top of fitted sheet and under top flat sheet) and start client face down. The breast pillow remains clean and dry and never makes direct contact with the client, eliminating all of the fuss when trying to pull the pillow out from underneath the fitted sheet. -

What is the material on the outside? I assume it has some kind of cover over foam?
Answer: The material on the outside is vinyl or something similar. It is easy to clean and the cover can come off, but there is no need. Just wipe it down with a mild baby or disinfectant wipe. -

Is it comfortable enough to sleep on every night?
Answer: I have only used it for massage therapy clients, not to sleep on. However, massage clients have found it very comfortable (nursing moms, ladies with larger breasts or post-surgery).
