Answer: The information that came with the Big Blue 24W Solar Panel Charger does not specifically mention an "auto reset". My experience is that the amount of power being supplied by the solar panels will decrease as clouds block the sun and then return to full output as the clouds go away. -

Can i use this to charge a portable power station? If so, what brands it compatible with?
Answer: Our 63w solar charger can charge the portable power station, our product equipe with 10-in-1 connector kit and a 5.5x2.5mm DC to 5.5x2.1mm DC cable. We suggest use Goal Zero Yeti 150 / 400 Power Station, Jackery Explorer 160 / 240 Portable Generator, you can use the 7.9mm connector to charge it. As for the other power station, you need to know the size of input port, if it is not compatible with our solar charger, you need to buy extra dc cable or connector. -

Answer: This 24w solar charger adopt new hot pressing technology, is thinner and more exquisite; the waterproof performance is better. The upgraded refer to the output of 3 usb upgraded from 3.4A Max to 4.8A max. -

My 12v/12ah lifepo4 battery has an ac charger rated at 15v/2amps. will the amp rating on this be too high?
Answer: No. Check your LiFePO4 battery specifications. Usually the maximum charging rate is specified in terms of "C" - where 1C is the same as the battery capacity in amp hours. Typically LiFePO4 batteries include a BMS module which prevent overcharging and too fast discharging. For longest battery life, a 1C charge rate or less is sometimes recommend. In full sunlight, a 80 watt solar panel at 12 volts supplies 6.5 amps per hour [current = watts ÷ voltage or 80W ÷ 12V = 6.5A]. The 6.5A is less than the 1C rating of 12AH of your battery. My Big Blue 120W solar panel limits the 12V output current to 5A. Your 80W panel may not be able to supply 6.5A. The 12V at 2A ac charger included with your battery is cheaper than a 6A one and probably does not reflect the maximum charging rate. Your 12AH battery probably includes a BMS module as without one would be a serious safety risk. So your 80W panel will not provide too high a charging current. -
