Its suspension travel is optimized for bumps typically encountered on roads and light trails. The stem is compatible with the majority of mountain bike steerer tubes and handlebars, but it’s essential to check the bike’s measurements before buying. The ShockStop Pro stem doesn’t have an adjustable primary angle. However, it can be flipped. It is compatible with most handlebars with 31.8mm diameter and steerer tubes with 1 1/8" or 1 1/4". The stem measures 40mm. One of the advantages of this product is that it helps reduce numbness in the hands. However, it’s not recommended for aggressive downhill use.
