The Graco-Sharpe 288880 HVLP FX3000 Paint Spray Gun is an exceptional gun for both professionals and amateurs. Although this gun is targeted towards automotive painting, it is versatile enough to handle a wide range of projects. The gun itself is easy to adjust and use, and lays down a fine finish. The 1.8 nozzle and needle set up sprays urethane primer very well, though the 1.4 tip can also be used with automotive primers when thinned properly. Acrylic water-based paint works very well with this gun and is what it's most commonly used for. The gun requires a 33-gallon air compressor with proper PSI at the nozzle, but it's best to use on a 60-gallon compressor to perform small bursts of work. Though beware that it requires proper cleaning and coverage to work well.
