I had planned to transition my dog from the crate but with this pad/bed in the crate he continues going in there so I can say he definitely finds it comfortable. It is nylon material so does not seem to get hot and is very easy to clean. -

I am looking for a bed to be my dog's hangout for outdoors and on the boat. (he won't be chewing it so that's not an issue.) outdoor, y/n?
Answer: If he won't be chewing on it this would be perfect. My dog is still struggling with the whole dont pee where you sleep thing. This bed actually soaks it up. I have to wash it more because of that; but the point I'm trying to make is that on the boat you're going to have a lot of residual water splash up in addition to people dripping on the boat carpet. This bed will keep him from having to lay on a wet bed. -

My crate is 34 x 21 what size pet bed should I order?
Answer: I would say the 30 inch. These beds have rolled edges that sort of flatten out when the dog lays on it so the 36 is already two inches too large for the crate that you have. I think you would have a problem closing the crate with a bed too large in the crate. -

Answer: I got the large for my 42in crate and it fits perfect. I got the XL for my 48 in crate.

The Maxx Dog Bed is perfect for pet owners looking to provide comfort to their furry friends. It is not plushy but provides enough cushion for comfort. It is made of nylon material, making it easy to clean and does not seem to get hot, making it perfect for hot weather. It also has rolled edges that sort of flatten out when the dog lays on it. Its bumper edge allows pets to lean on it and is not "hot". However, the bed is not chew-resistant or chew-proof, and some customers have reported their dogs ripping the bed or chewing holes in it, making it not durable. The stitch pattern and color also received negative feedback from customers. Overall, the Maxx Dog Bed is a great value for its price but may not be suitable for pets that love chewing.
