It is Constructed with polypropylene string wound around a rigid polypropylene core and has a 1 micron nominal filtration rating. It fits standard 10" Big Blue housings and can be used with most all industry standard Big Blue or heavy-duty housings that take the 4" diameter cartridges. The manufacturer recommends replacing the filter every 4-6 weeks, but this can vary based on the amount of sediment the well pump is encountering.
