One customer who had previously loved their Ryobi drill found this one to be underpowered and unable to push through resistance while driving screws. They replaced it with a corded Craftsman drill that was much more effective. However, other customers found this newer model to be a significant improvement over older Ryobi models and even DeWalt drills. The Ryobi provides Consistent power and fast response from its trigger.
