It has a Class II rating, which can reduce or remove particulates from 1 to 5 microns in size and is certified against NSF/ANSI Standard 42. The installation process seems straightforward but may require a strong person to move the fridge. It does not remove iron and does not come with any adapters. The product has received mixed reviews ranging from excellent to leaking issues. Some of its sleeves may break when installing a new filter which means the user has to buy a complete new filter.
