Answer: The can of Oregon blackberries I have is October of '23. I think all cans must have to have an expiration date because the sugar in the blackberry can would keep it from spoiling for a long time, I would think. I, personally, don't pay much attention to expiration dates unless it's something that would spoil rapidly or if it's really a long time after the date. -

Answer: You can use dark sweet cherries in a pie. There are many good recipes online. The key is to watch the amount of sugar you use. With tart cherries, you need more sugar and with sweet cherries, you need less sugar. This is a good brand for canned fruit. I recommend giving it a try! -
