Answer: It is metal, But I thought one can run them down. It is not that sturdy of a material as the other reviewer says. I think it is a fake review. As well as the material used IS CHEAP. I gave then a bad review, they contacted me and asked if I would remove my review, that they would send me a replacement pairs. Yes, I bought 2 pairs. I said yes after they sent me my replacement glasses. They said No. Not a very good company and the glasses started to peel on the 3rd day of wearing them. I CONTACTED THEM NUMEROUS OF TIMES AND THEY ASNWER THAT IT WAS ONLY A QUESTION NOT THEY WERE GOING TO TO REPLACE THEM. WHAT A HORROR OF A COMPANY. -
