    Answer: I would go with some tapcons, or another masonry attachment if you are attaching to brick

    Answer: My best guess is not, because from the design viewpoint that would be redundant - the cable is plastic covered, perhaps polyethylene dipped, what should give it with more than adequate durability for most DIY projects.

    Answer: Yes there is a sheet of instructions and I believe there’s a link to their YouTube video as well on the page.
  • Question: Do I really need something like this to hang outdoor string lights or can I just hang my string lights how they came?

    Answer: No engineer will risk a definite answer without knowing more details about the loads and distances involved. On a Christmas tree, one usually hangs what is in the box. Across a street, one might need a reinforcement.
  • Question: How do you attach string of lights to cable? In picture, it looks like lights have “hook” on the top of each one, but your lights do not.

    Answer: There is a loop above each socket that the cable slides through.
  • Question: Is the string lights hanging kit hardware made of 304 SS or only the cable?

    Answer: This is a loaded question because it depends on the design requirements. What I have is mostly plastic, with some bronze connections copper wires, and glass light bulbs.
  • Question: Do you use one rope clamp per loop or two? Some pictures show one, others show two (one below the other).

    Answer: There are 2 loops for you.
  • Question: Can these suspension wires be somehow attached to a metal rain gutter?

    Answer: It depends on your gutter and which part of the gutter. Those wires require something strong and stable, after all, you are likely to hang something on it, so your connection needed to be strong. For the weight, you put on as well as the tension for both ends of the wire pulling each other.
