Although it's porous, it's okay for cutting and writing on, but might not be suitable for using with dies because they may run. It can be cut into smaller pieces without fraying and rolled up to create scrolls. However, the pages are not flexible and may have to be flattened if bent during delivery. Students have enjoyed using these sheets with zero prep work required, and have reported using colored pencils and crayons, which work fine on the papyrus. However, they found the texture a little difficult to work with when using a micron pen or Sharpie.
