Each slot is exactly 1.25" wide, but if you need a little more space, removing the black rubber piece will give you about an extra 1/8". The product can hold regular sized - mini baseball bats, and the weight limit is 35 lbs or 50 lbs depending on the source. The organizer works great behind doors as long as it is securely attached, and it comes with anchors and screws for installation. Customers have reported that the product is strong and robust and is easy to install with the included template and multiple screw options. However, some have noted that the wall anchors and screws are of poor quality and should be replaced with better quality ones.
