It is easy to apply and a little goes a long way. The finish seems to be long-lasting, based on customer feedback. It worked well to bring back the color of a black slate counter and add a darker luster to natural stone on a fireplace. However, the product may not work for outside use, particularly on slate in which water doesn't sit, or if the concerned surface has been applied with an impregnator sealer last year. The product may not adhere to any sealer applied over it. Likewise, it may require multiple applications to darken leathered granite and may not work on surfaces that are not absorbent. Some customers also experienced labor-intensive work with a sticky outcome after wiping it down.
