Answer: Absolutely! My backyard is over 150' deep. We sit on the back porch watching birds and animals. -

Answer: I think they would be excellent for that purpose. They are very compact and light and the optical quality is good. -

Answer: No, they are not. However, these are great binoculars. Very clear and focused. -

Is it good for indoor shows (concerts)? Or is it just for outdoors?
Answer: I'm sure you can use for indoor shows depending on how far away you are. I might recommend a more powerful or larger model; however, I would stay with Bushnell. It is extremely well made and very compact. I primarily use mine for watching birds from inside and it works great. -

Do these binoculars have a carrying case and lens covers?
Answer: Case, yes; lens covers, for eyepieces only. -

Would these be good for an Alaskan cruise?
Answer: I think they would be fine for the trip. Of course they are not going to be as powerful as a pair that costs hundreds of dollars. When I have used mine I have seen everything as clear as a bell and I would not go on a trip without them. I think you will be pleased with them. Enjoy your Alaskan cruise!
