Question:
Does this have a florally smell to it? I get an instant headache with any type of floral smells
Answer: Not floral at all. Wintergreen is the top note, peppermint a little. I can't smell the helichrysum at all. -
Question:
Does the wintergreen in this overwhelm all the other scents (so that it is the main/only thing you can smell)?
Answer: I've used mine all up, but I do not remember wintergreen being that noticeable ( like I thought it would be). It was very helpful for my sore muscles. It actually seemed more mildly scented than other brands that I've tried, but worked just as effectively. -
Question:
Will this oil help with sciatic pain?
Answer: I have given this oil to several people to try. To answer your question, I have not found a pain it did not help. I cannot be without it. -
Question:
What do you recommend diluting with?
Answer: I use a small amount of almond oil (considered a carrier oil)...but any oil will do. I use almond oil for it seems to soak into skin without feeling greasy. And then 4-5 drops of the muscle relief....you can use whatever amount you want for the warmth you want from the mixture. Depends on how much I am hurting on the amount I use. My skin is sensitive for I have to watch how strong I make it. My husband can take a stronger amount. -
Question:
Can you put this into bath water with epsom salt to soak achy muscles after a workout?
Answer: With all the mint oils in this, No! Mint, wintergreen and clove are all warming oils. Adding them to your bath water will irritate the skin super bad. For sore muscles try something more soothing like Lavender or Rose oil. -
Question:
Would this help severe leg cramps? Or keep legs and hands from cramping?
Answer: My grandparents use this for severe arthritis. I would assume it would help with leg cramps. You might also try lavender. -
Question:
Is the product tested on animals?
Answer: No!
