SP Bel-Art, H-B DURAC General Purpose Liquid-In-Glass Laboratory Thermometer is a 12 inch long thermometer with a thickness or diameter almost 3/4th of that of a standard pencil. It can be used outdoors to measure temperature, the diameter of the thermometer approximately is 3 mm and it will fit a 24 40 thermometer adapter. The thermometer is made in China and it cannot be used as an oral thermometer for adults. It can be used to check temperatures in refrigerators and freezers, but it is not the best choice due to its length and reading difficulty. The thermometer received mixed reviews from some customers. Some found it to be easy to read and not too fragile, while others found it to be very inaccurate and claimed that it was broken on arrival. One customer complained that they couldn't return the product even though it arrived broken.
