It works well underwater, and the camera can record in saltwater with cleaning after each use. The camera uses a USB 2.0 Micro-B connector for charging and allows up to 64GB capacity for the memory SD card. The camera has additional features such as a compass, altimeter and logging capabilities for pictures' metadata. The camera comes with additional purchases including an extra battery, charger and a lens ring adapter because the regular lens ring that the camera comes with is for cosmetic purposes only. Some users found the battery life less than impressive, making it necessary to purchase additional batteries. The camera has somewhat limited low light capabilities, while it takes great macro pictures, but not the best at taking landscape pictures. Some users experienced issues such as the camera being noisy during recording and becoming faulty with time.
